Fire Ant

[Bandit]

Weight: 30 tons
Jump Distance: 0 m
Top Speed: 97 Kph
Armor Value: 80 pts
Cost: 24, 600
Loadout: 3 Flamers
3 Machine guns
Equipment: None

Light, fast, and when deployed in numbers the Fire Ant brings its Flame Array to bear on 'Mech teams attacking fixed bases. Used extensively as a sentry, the Fire Ant fights relentlessly but rarely with the support of heavily armed 'Mechs.

Keating Armaments (These guys had to have been the ultimate morons to come up with this 'Mech design Cyrus.) took the contract to produce the Fire Ant and sprung a unique design. By conserving space and material Keating engineered and inexpensive (sacrificial Lamb) 'Mech that could be produced in vast quantity and without depleting the armories of its customers. The equally inexpensive Flamer and Machine gun Arrays arm the swarms of Fire ants deployed in base defense. (Not against 'Mechs. This 'mech is only good for anti-infantry unless in large numbers, ver large numnbers)
